For the past two weeks we did our annual outreach for the children who come from our village area and a couple villages from the surrounding area. The staff, our children from our children’s home and our Bible students did an outstanding job presenting Jesus through drama, testimony, and songs. Our children and the Bible students built the stage and decorated our campus for Sweet December and for our Christmas outreach and it looked fantastic. To see the children take their own initiative is very satisfying for us to see. Of course we capped off both outreaches with meals for everyone. On our second outreach we gave gifts and of course presented gifts for all the children. It is important for us to demonstrate that God gave His Son Jesus and of course His very nature is to give! The scripture tells us that, “every good gift comes from above,” and that gift (the life of Jesus) keeps giving all year round not just Christmas. It is important to us that our children have an image on the inside that God is a giver! We are so very grateful to all who have supported us on these two outreaches. Jesus truly is the gift who keeps on giving!
